The Section on Health Choice, Policy, and Evaluation in NYU Langone’s Department of Population Health investigates how public policy and neighborhood and other environmental factors impact the choices people make and their health.
We bring together researchers from different disciplines, including behavioral economics, medicine, psychology, epidemiology, geographic science, community health, and health evaluation. Using our research results, we make evidence-based recommendations to help improve health policy—particularly to help populations with high rates of chronic disease.
We are located in Manhattan at 180 Madison Avenue, on the third floor. For all inquiries, please contact Courtney Abrams, program director, at courtney.abrams@nyulangone.org or 646-501-3365.
